Bulleit just unveiled a new neon sign in Grand Central Market, and I was invited to attend the party to celebrate! And I brought my handsome partner in crime 😉
The sign was created in collaboration with the Museum of Neon Art (MONA), by graphic designer Brendan Donnelly, and neon artist Lisa Shulte.
We were also invited to go on a Neon Cruise to check out all the neon signs still on display throughout LA before the party, but traffic was a nightmare and we missed the tour. #laproblems. However MONA operates those tours throughout the year, so now it’s going on our local fun bucket list.
The party was held at LA event venue Millwick in the arts district, and was absolutely delightful! Cocktails inspired by designs in the sign and created by local LA bartenders were served all night long. We tried “Mermaid Vibes” (left) and “The Mandela Effect”. Super yum.
The whiskey and finger foods were free-flowing, and were the perfect accompaniment for the warm, LA night.
The party might be over, but that doesn’t mean the awesomeness has to stop. For every 21+ adult who shares a photo of the Bulleit neon sign on social media and includes the hashtag #FrontierWorks, Bulleit will make a donation to MONA’s sign restoration effort. Pretty cool.

And as always, drink responsibly my friends.
